WEATHER: Ready for a cool down tomorrow

Southeast winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s. Skies will become partly cloudy to mostly clear by early Sunday morning. Lows will be in the mid-70s.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3am.

Scattered storms with heavy rain Friday evening.

We'll have a lows near 50 degrees with some areas dipping into the upper 40s.

Rain returns on Monday and it could come down heavy at times, especially late Monday into early Tuesday.

Highs on Friday will be just over the 70 degree mark. South winds will be around 5 to 10 miles per hour with a 30 percent chance of rain. That combined with the potential for some sun in spots will destabilize the atmosphere and produce more storms this afternoon. Low pressure will move right over western Mass with a good deal of rain. Showers and storms are possible each afternoon with highs in the lower-90s.

Fri: High: 86 Low: 68 Mostly cloudy with storms likely.

Jesse Moore, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, also said temperatures for the coming week will be cooler than normal.
