Five things Raila Odinga said during his CNN interview

Kenya's election hacked – according to opposition

Kenya's electoral commission has said that all the required forms are available for confirmation and called on the opposition to give them time so that they can be delivered to their offices for scrutiny.

Provisional results show President Uhuru Kenyatta with a lead of 1.4 million votes as he vies for a second and final five-year term. "The streets do not".

NAN reports that Kenya's election commission dismissed claims on Wednesday by opposition leader Raila Odinga that its systems and website had been hacked to produce a "fictitious" lead for Odinga's long-time rival President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"We reject the results streamed so far", Odinga said on his Twitter account, criticising the Electoral Commission and its vote counting process.

On Wednesday, at least three people were shot and killed in in violent confrontations across the country.

Tensions remain high in the country following rumours of election fraud in Tuesday's presidential election.

Mr Kenyatta was leading with 54.34 per cent and Mr Odinga had 44.78 after votes at almost 39,000 of the 40,883 polling stations were counted, according to the Kenya's election commission. "Force should only be used as a last resort, and even then only the bare minimum to prevent loss of life", said Muthoni Wanyeki, Amnesty International's regional director for East Africa, the Horn and the Great Lakes.

On his part, Musyoka called on Kenyans to keep calm as NASA reviews the results.

Head of the EU's election mission Marietje Schaake confirmed Kerry's assessment of the voting, and said she had seen "no signs of centralized or localized manipulation".

"All presidential results from returning officers will reach the national tallying center by 12 p.m. tomorrow, that is, 11th of August", said Chebukati.

A team of global observers - made up of officials from the European Union, African Union the Commonwealth and the Carter Center - commended the work of electoral mission.

"We have caught them".

But the most important issues are ahead of us: Does Odinga concede peacefully?

Odinga posted 50 pages of computer logs online to support his hacking claims, but they were "inconclusive", according to Matt Bernhard, who studies computer security in election systems at the University of MI.

But there were clashes in his hometown of Kisumu, with police firing tear gas at protesters.

"I haven't heard what the Opposition says... on what basis their complaint would be".
