Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is meeting Trump on Thursday, told public radio that he would like to see a long-term LNG deal with a USA company.

During his trip to Poland, Trump is attending The Three Seas Initiative summit with a dozen leaders from Central and Eastern European, and meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

He made the comments as he prepares to meet face-to-face for the first time with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014, which the US does not recognize.

The White House had said Trump would use the stopover in Warsaw to showcase his commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, which he once called "obsolete", bemoaning allies' repeated failure to meet the two percent target. "Trade between China and North Korea grew nearly 40% in the first quarter", Trump tweeted, adding,"So much for China working with us - but we had to give it a try!"

Earlier in the day, President Trump met with Croatia President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

Trump responding when a reporter asked why he wouldn't agree with his intelligence agencies that Russian Federation meddled with the 2016 elections said: "I heard it was 17 agencies, I said boy that's a lot -do we even have 17 agencies, let's check that".

Donald Trump has delivered a major speech in Poland declaring that "the West will never be broken" and vowing to win the battle against extremism.
