California woman Livestreamed dying sister after vehicle crash

The driver filmed herself singing and gesturing to the camera before the deadly crash

An 18-year-old California driver has been charged with manslaughter after reportedly livestreaming herself driving and causing a fatal auto accident that killed her 14-year-old sister, continuing to broadcast the horrific aftermath as the young girl lay dying in a field after being ejected from the vehicle.

Jacqueline Sanchez was killed when her older sister crashed the white Buick Century she was driving outside of Los Banos Friday evening.

In the first part of the video, Sanchez is smiling and throwing up signs, her eyes focused on her phone and her live Instagram video, not on the road. The other girl in the vehicle, who can be seen waving for help in the video, has been identified as 14-year-old Manuela Seja according to KFSN. "I killed my sister, but I don't care", Obdulia said on Instagran. The video, which could be seen on Instagram hours after the accident, showed Sanchez singing and dancing before the accident.

Gloria and Nicandro Sanchez said their lives are ruined by the tragedy.

. Because she knows, and that's what I feel. "I'm sorry baby. I'ma hold it down". I don't f**king care at all.

Sanchez deviated from the road and when attempting to fix her course, she over-corrected and the auto crashed through a fence and overturned. "What I think, she knows she's done something wrong". Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke confirmed that Jacqueline was not wearing her seatbelt when the vehicle crashed and rolled on Henry Miller Road.

"Authorities say Obdulia Sanchez, 18, was driving the auto Friday when it veered onto the shoulder of a road about 75 miles (120.7 kilometers) northwest of Fresno".

Sanchez was booked on driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter charges at the Merced County Jail on Saturday. CHP investigators did not disclose Sanchez's blood alcohol content at the time of the crash. Obdulia ended up losing control.

Sanchez then positions the camera so she can speak into it with her sister's apparently lifeless body also in the frame. Her parents, however, told the television station Jacqueline was going to be confirmed in a Catholic church. Jacqueline Sanchez was gearing up to celebrate her quinceañera - her 15th birthday - before her young life ended.

The video since has gone viral on the Internet after Stockton resident Mary Hernandez said she saw the video and reposted it.
