Improperly Stored Raw Meat Among Violations Found at Trump's Mar-a-Lago

Health Inspectors Cite Trump's Mar-A-Lago For

Donald Trump's private Palm Beach club has been zinged by Florida restaurant inspectors for having potentially risky raw fish, as well as storing food in multiple broken refrigerators, among multiple other offenses.

President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago Club, known in his administration as the "Winter White House" or "Southern White House", was cited for a number of sanitation violations in a January inspection.

Fish that was meant to be served raw had not undergone proper parasite destruction and needed to be cooked or thrown away immediately, inspectors said. Mar-a-Lago is representing the United States of America to the rest of the world.

President Trump makes it lucky No. 7 today, making his latest trip to Mar-a-Lago. This is because it is in the financial interests of Donald Trump and Co.to promote Mar-a-Lago as much as possible. These three violations alone, inspectors said, could present a breeding ground for unsafe bacteria that could have caused guests to fall ill.

Inspectors found raw chicken, beef and pork kept at temperatures too high to be safe. One walk-in cooler was mistakenly set to defrost, according to the report.

The routine health inspection took place less than a week after Trump's inauguration and about two weeks before hosting the Japanese Prime Minister.

Raw meats in two coolers were over the regulated 41°F.

The Trump Organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The January checks were not the first time inspectors have found problems at Mar-a-Lago. "The infractions were corrected on site, and the establishment was immediately brought into compliance", said Stephen Lawson, communications director for the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

As for Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping, there's no indication anything was wrong with the chocolate cake. So while he may not be our greatest president-there's those kind euphemisms again-he apparently was a pretty good kitchen manager.
