Interview interrupted: Family speaks up after viral BBC interview

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway hilariously TROLL Professor Robert Kelly's BBC News blunder

The dad who shot to internet superstardom last week when a video of his kids sweetly interrupting his live BBC interview went viral is now introducing the public to his family.

"They're little kids and that's how things are", Kelly said.

"Then I knew it was over", Professor Kelly said.

While the two can laugh about it now, Kelly and his wife, Jung-a Kim, explain that after seeing the video, they were, above all, incredibly anxious that they had blown their relationship with the BBC.

Many found the candid moment amusing and endearing, but the panicked demeanour of Robert's wife as she rushed to get the kids out of the study caused some to (unfairly) assume that she was the nanny.

Then, just to clear the air, Kelly addressed the rumor that he was not wearing any trousers during the interview.

Professor Kelly said he too found the video amusing when he saw it later.

He also said he normally locks the door during his interviews, but he forgot to do it this time.

The press conference, which was streamed live from South Korea, where the Kelly family lives, was conducted so dad, Robert Kelly, could address some majorly important questions.

She had been in the living room. watching her husband's appearance on TV and recording it. "It was chaos for me", she confessed.

While Kelly initially declined the BBC's request to share the interview online, he eventually allowed the posting after the network had insisted it showed they were a normal family.

"We were anxious actually that the BBC would never call us again", said Kelly.

Also, they added that they were anxious that BBC would never call them again after the spontaneous incident.

'We understand why people find it enjoyable, catching a regular family off guard, ' Prof Kelly said.

Kelly's four-year-old daughter, Marion, had just gotten home from celebrating her birthday with her classmates, perhaps explaining the bounce in her step seen in the above clip.

After the clip circulated the web, many noted that some viewers and news publications had assumed the woman in the clip was the children's nanny, rather than their mother.

"Yes", he told the BBC, "I was wearing trousers". "I hope people just enjoy it", she said, "not argue" over it.
