Angelina Jolie considering 'Maleficent 2,' new directorial roles

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie might reprise her role as the titular character in the film, "Maleficent 2" despite his on-going divorce settlement with Brad Pitt.

Jolie will be starring in three movies, "The Spy Who Loved", "Catherine the Great" and "Potemkin: The Imperial Love Affair".

Jolie had a strong performance as a director with her 2014 film Unbroken, which earned $116 million at the USA box office, though had less success with 2015 drama By the Sea.

The actress has stayed under the radar since her heavily publicised divorce with Brad Pitt in November previous year.

News anchor George Stephanopoulos then recalled previous comments Angelina had made about Brad during their romance, when she gushed about the 53-year-old as a "wonderful father".

More news: Jay Z not busy enough so he's reportedly starting a VC fund.

"Like chips, these are like flavourless chips", retorted one of her sons munching on the bugs.

The adaptation of Loung Ung's First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers is coming to Netflix soon.

Jolie, in Cambodia to promote her new movie "First They Killed My Father", told the BBC in an interview at the weekend that the split with Pitt has been hard. By picking the right interview outlets and staging the appropriate photo opportunities, Jolie illustrated during a press blitz this weekend that she is doing just fine without a publicist. The actress was very emotional during the interview telling people that the divorce was very hard for her. The former Hollywood couple shares six children namely twins Vivienne and Knox, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox.

The 41-year-old actress-and-director was spotted frying a tarantula to eat with her children in Cambodia earlier this week but it seems she's also cooking up a plan to get back in front of the camera after turning her back on big Hollywood movie roles.

The star is confident her family will emerge "stronger" after the divorce and custody drama.
